Eighteen year old Delaware singer/songwriter/actress Amber Rahman has joined Realize Records roster to release a series of projects. The first single, “Get Me” is scheduled for release late summer 2015. The second single, “The Bluff” was just recorded in Nashville and will be released late 2015. Rahman is also featured in the upcoming film “Days of Power” starring independent musicians from all over the world and power couple Eric and Eliza Roberts.
Rahman, a vocal and guitar student of Realize Studios teacher Paul Lewis, joined his vocal group TruVoX in 2014. “I’ve been working with Amber since 2009. She has always been very focused and knows what she wants. I love seeing her grow into this diverse artist. says, Singer/Songwriter Paul Lewis. Label reps attended a TruVoX performance at World Cafe Live in early 2015. During the performance Lewis and Rahman performed a song they wrote together. “I was blown away by the song. I remember turning to the people at my table and saying that is a hit song. I knew Amber as an actress and singer but had never heard any of her originals. TruVoX normally creates unique vocal covers not originals so I was not expecting it.” states label CEO Michel Grey
Rahman, who is heavily influenced by Taylor Swift recorded “Get Me” at Rokbox Studios with singer/songwriter Paul Lewis and producer Lance Davis in Philadelphia and just completed recording “The Bluff” in Nashville with producer Robert Venable. Amber says, “Having an opportunity to work with Lance, Robert and Paul in both Nashville and Philadelphia studios was really exciting. I can’t wait for the music to be released and really begin this new journey.”
